Greetings in the Precious name of Jesus!
This week I want to encourage you with these simple words, “don’t do it alone!” God didn’t intend for us to be loners, in fact He says in Genesis 2: 18, “it is not good for man to be alone.” The bible also says “not to neglect meeting together…and encouraging one and other.” Hebrews 10: 25
Over the years I have met so many people that need more help than they have. Some are doing it alone because they just haven’t asked for help; some because the right people haven’t come along; some have been hurt and let down by promises that haven’t materialized so they end up doing the job themselves; and others because they haven’t learnt to let go and let others in!
I don’t know about you but in this season I am intentionally seeking help, relationship and connection because like the body each part has a strategic role to play.
This week I want to ask you a simple question: “Are you doing it alone?” Are you trying to accomplish the vision God has set for you in isolation or are you intentionally and actively seeking out those who can contribute? If your vision is bigger than you alone can accomplish (and if it’s from God it should be) then pray and ask God for the helpers, ask Him where you need to position yourself or where you need to go. Whatever you do, don’t do it alone!
Remember, Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor.
For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up. Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; but how can one be warm alone?
